The meaning of foreign citizenship

Citizenship is a status granted by the state according to the parameters used in it, and guarantees many rights, protection, possibilities for visits without limitation of reason or length of stay, studies and employment, residence, exercise of rights and social benefits and more.

There is no connection between citizenship and residency – you can gain citizenship even in a country where you have no intention of living.

Every citizen of the State of Israel is entitled to hold an additional foreign citizenship, without renouncing Israeli citizenship and without any harm to existing rights.

Additional citizenship is an advantage that guarantees double rights, benefits and political protection, and as long as there is an entitlement to such citizenship – it is recommended to exercise it, even without an immediate need, for the benefit of a future need if it comes and for the benefit of the next generation.

The meaning of German citizenship

Germany is a senior member of the European Union, and German citizenship gives its holders rights and status in all the countries of the European Union.

The European Union includes the association of 27 different European countries, into one economic and security power, which grants all citizens of the Union a wide range of rights, in each of its member states.

Exercising rights to German citizenship is popular among many Israelis, who seek to gain the benefits and advantages granted by membership in the Union, and not necessarily the state of Germany itself.

Among the outstanding benefits that are available to EU citizens

Mobility and freedom of movement – the possibility to freely enter any of the EU countries and move between them, without any restrictions.

Residence – the possibility of temporary residence or permanent residence, renting or purchasing apartments and residential properties, in all the countries of the Union.

Employment – a permit and the possibility to work and make a living in all the countries of the Union.

Trade and business – trading options, starting a business or a partnership in it, establishing companies, real estate investments and any commercial or business activity, while taking advantage of local bureaucratic benefits and concessions, international tax treaty and other benefits.

Studies – the possibility of registering for educational institutions for residents of the EU countries and their children, and the possibility of registering for leading universities, colleges and academic institutions in the world, in each of the EU member states. Academic education in Europe is provided to citizens of the Union free of charge in most of these institutions, and with a significant subsidy in others.

Exemption from visa obligation to the USA – European passport holders, unlike the Israeli passport, are entitled to free entry to the USA without the obligation to issue an entry visa (visa).

Security protection – the complex security reality in the State of Israel leads many to the armor of the possibility of residence in case of need, in times of war or threat, and maintaining a German passport and European citizenship is a natural protection that can be exercised immediately at any time.

Many Israelis know their family history and know or want to know if they too meet the eligibility conditions. Fortunately, the state of Germany kept excellent records about the Jewish residents and citizens who lived in its territory in those years,
